Splatter textures, also called spray on concrete or spray pave, are a textured concrete restoration that enhance the aesthetics of practically any concrete surface. Spray on concrete is not used only for concrete flat work; it is also applied for vertical decorative concrete surfaces leaving colored stucco appearance.
A hopper gun is connected to an air compressor to create the rounded, bubble like texture. This texture provides enormous slip resistance to the surface, making a spray pave treatment the ideal solution for pool decks, concrete driveways and outdoor living spaces.
In contrast to acrylic based systems, THIN-FINISH™ can be “knocked down” for additional improvement of the design or appearance and also to eliminate any sharp borders from the surface. Once cured, these finishes endure the lifespan of the substrate.
Although the spray on concrete look has been replaced by newer options, it is one of the most economical solutions to plain gray concrete surfaces and slabs.
Concrete stencils and design tape are frequently utilized to produce stone and tile patterns. These systems can be integrally colored with PORTION CONTROL COLORANT™, SYNTHETIC PRIMARY PIGMENT™ and then additional highlights are added with ULTRA-STONE™ Antiquing Stain.
